Learn To Trust The Process and Wait On God

Trusting the process.......what does that really mean to you?

For me, it means alot.

The past week was really hard. I have been tested on so many different levels and quit my business at least 10 times in the last 3 days. But then something happen, I was reading the word and it suddenly hit me, are you really trusting the process or wanting things to happen when you want them to happen? This was the question I asked myself. Tough question, but it was real. Have you ever had to ask yourself this? Well, sis as you can see you are not alone.

It was like God tapped me on the shoulder and said slow ya roll sis, you either gone trust me and the process or you gone keep being frustrated. What's it going to be? I have a plan and purpose for you, but it's not gone be easy and you will have to do a self-check.

You see........oftentimes, we want things to happen according to our timeline and that's not how God works. I had been so down on myself about business. Why are the sales not coming like I need them too? I am putting forth way more effort, what is wrong with me? When is it gonna be my turn? When am I gone hear the cha-ching all throught the day(iykyk)? Blah Blah Blah.......a good ole fashioned pity party is what I had been participating in and it needed to stop.

Then BAM.....Sunday morning service came and here I was listening to the word and this time it wasn't a tap but more like a smack! It was a word I needed to hear. How can I trust you with more if you still haven't fully mastered managing a little? I have a huge blessing with your name on it but you MUST trust me and the process!!

I began to simmer on the word and this is what I heard:

1. God only gives us things when he feels we are ready for them and can handle them.

2. I need to change the way I manage and view money. 

Baaaabbbyyyyy #2 is THE ONE!!!

You see, although I am managing money better than I was before, I am still not managing it the way I need to, in order to get to the next level in business. I didn't cme from money growing up and I certainly haven't been balling as an adult so God needs to make sure when he does get me there, I can handle it.

I can truly be honest and real and say.....how do I expect God to bless me with an abundance of paying customers if I don't fully have my spending habits under control. A good example is going into the craft stores and having restraint. I only need to focus on the things I NEED right now and not the things I want.....big difference.

This is a season of planting seed so that God can grow that seed.

Is this hitting home for you? I mean let's be real Girlfriends, alot of us are asking God to give us things we are not quite ready for.

Trust me, this is hard for me to even type because yes I want nothing more than a booming business, but I need to be appreciative of the customers I do have now and nurture that.

Here's what we gone do in 2022!  Ha....see how I did that? Lol

Anywho.........we have got to buckle down ladies and SAVE instead of spending during our building season. Like the saying goes....work hard now so you can play hard later. Your time is and will come but you've got to keep working and trust God, it's the only way.
